New Guides: Downton Abbey and The Hunger Games

Just in time (almost) for the new season, a complete guide for Downton Abbey is available. Can’t remember which duke or viscount has already proposed to Lady Mary? All episodes are linked to their original UK airdates, so PBS can brush up on the characters without fear of spoilers from the new season.

Also, if you prefer the dystopian future to the Edwardian past, a Hunger Games film guide is now available alongside the book guide.

Introducing Guides

One of the main reasons I built Whenopedia was to solve the problem of accidental spoilers. Several times while watching TV shows on Netflix I’ve wanted to look up an actor or character from the show on Wikipedia only to learn more than I wanted to. Whenopedia solves that problem by time-limiting the information.

To make this use case easier for others I’ve started assembling Guides. These are lists of pages with specific dates for browsing. For TV shows each guide is broken down by the episode and airdate, so you can safely browse without spoilers. I’ve also included some book series as well as annual events. Give it a try for Game of Thrones, The Hunger Games trilogy, or even the Super Bowl.
